Photoshop Tutorial/ How to make a COLLAGE EFFECT in Photoshop Cs3/4/5/CC

Today I’m showing an easy and interesting process of collage effect in Photoshop. This is a part of creative graphic design. Here is an image of a girl. I’m taking this for making collage effect.
First make a copy of the layer by pressing Ctrl + J. Now take a new layer under the copied layer and fill it with black. Now take a new layer on top of the layer stake, make a rectangular selection and fill it with black. Now Press Ctrl + J to copy the rectangle and fill it with white. Press Ctrl+ T and make it larger proportionately. Put it under black rectangle so that a white border is found.
Now take the copied image layer on top of the layer panel and right click on it. Select Create Clipping Mask. Now see the layer is masked in black rectangle surrounded with a white border. Now select top three layers and duplicate it. Select second and third layer and move it. Another portion of the image becomes visible. Thus you can create a collage effect.
Open File
Duplicate the layer
Uncheck ( Hide ) the background layer and background copy layer and create a new layer

Go to Paint Bucket Tool and fill the new layer with a color ( I used Gray )
Move Layer 1 under background copy layer and check the background copy layer ( make it visible )

Click on the background layer copy and select the rectangle tool
Right click on rectangle 1 and select rasterize layer
Right click on rectangle 1 and select duplicate layer
Right click on rectangle 1 copy and select blending options
Select Color Overlay and choose white color
Rename the rectangle 1 copy white and rectangle 1 black

Move the black layer above the white layer
Press CTRL and hold and click the white layer, this will select the pixels
