So you want to make a vignette effect on Photoshop CS6? You want to make your picture looks elegant, but you don’t know how.

Don’t worry!

In this video, I have made a Photoshop tutorial on making a vignette effect. I tell you the easiest and the quickest way. On this tutorial, I have made two vignettes: dark vignette and white vignette.

The first tutorial is the dark vignette. It will only takes a minute to make this effect on Photoshop CS6.

Follow this step to apply vignette effect to your picture:

1. Run your Photoshop
2. Open your file
3. Duplicate the Bacground layer, name it Dark Vignette
4. Click Filter, then click Lens Correction
5. Click Custom
6. On the Vignette section, set the Amount to -80, and Midpoint to +40

Done! Now your picture has a nice dark vignette effect. Simple isn’t it?

On the second section, I show you how to make a light (white) vignette. Follow this step:

1. Make the Dark Vignette layer invisible
2. Duplicate the Background layer one more time, and name it White Vignette
3. Click Filter, then click Lens Correction
4. Click custom
5. On the Vignette section, set the Amount to +80, and Midpoint to +40

Please notice that the only difference between white and dark vignette is on the Amount value.

DONE. Now you have a nice white (light) vignette.

This tutorial is so simple. I’m pretty sure that you can follow this guide even though you are a beginner in Photoshop CS6.

Now apply this vignette effect to all of your pictures. Upload it on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or elsewhere.
